# TRAIX and Freeze

Understand token locking, profit sharing and paying for credits.

**TRAIEX** is the platform. **TRAIX** is its ecosystem token. The token has two distinct uses described here: locking it through Freeze and spending available tokens on supported products such as Trai credits.

## Freeze and spending are different

| Action                | Effect on tokens                         | Purpose                                           |
| --------------------- | ---------------------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------- |
| TRAIX Freeze          | Tokens are locked for the selected term. | Apply the chosen AI Trading result-sharing level. |
| Payment for a product | Available tokens are spent.              | Obtain the selected product or credits.           |

Tokens in Freeze cannot also be spent on Trai credits.

## Review a Freeze level

Open the Freeze controls in your account. Before confirming, check the required TRAIX amount, lock term, user/platform split and activation conditions.

The split refers to the distribution of the relevant trading result, not return on capital. For example, an 80/20 split describes how a qualifying result is divided; it does not mean an 80% investment return.

The product applies the selected level to Base and Pro within the subscription's capital limits. Do not confuse the amount of tokens locked with the trading capital allocated.

Locked tokens return to the available balance after the term; early unlocking is not provided. Read the account confirmation carefully before committing.

Selecting a level on the information page does not activate Freeze. Verify the actual activation record and lock end date in your account.

## Buy Trai credits

Use the product's credit top-up flow, check the TRAIX cost and the credits to be received, then confirm. Use available tokens, not tokens currently locked in Freeze.

Check the resulting credit balance and payment record. Subscription credits, extra credits and the token balance are separate figures.

## Check the asset before transferring

Use the platform's current token details to verify the network and contract. A matching ticker alone is not enough to identify a token. For deposits and withdrawals, follow the asset and network shown in the wallet form.

The Freeze share applies to positive combined realized PnL from closed Base and Pro trades for the UTC calendar day after trading fees.
