# Strategy Management

Adjust capital or risk, stop a strategy and check the result.

Open **AI Trading → Trading** and select the strategy you want to manage. Check whether **Base** or **Pro** is selected before changing capital or settings.

## Adjust capital

Use **Adjust allocation**, review the current amount and enter the change permitted by the form. Check the source balance, plan limit and amount that can actually be moved.

Capital used by open trades may not be immediately available to reduce or withdraw. Read the result of the request and verify both strategy capital and the available balance.

## Change risk settings

Use **Adjust Risk**, choose **Conservative**, **Balanced** or **Aggressive**, and confirm. Verify the displayed mode after saving. The control panel may also expose an explicit update action.

Do not infer how a change affects existing trades from the mode name. Read the confirmation and strategy rules before applying it.

## Change a subscription

Use **Change Subscription** to review another plan. Confirm the amount charged, capital limit, Base/Pro access and expiry date. Do not assume an upgrade always charges only a price difference or always restarts the full subscription period.

After confirmation, check the subscription record and strategy status.

## Stop and restart

Stopping prevents new trades from opening. Open trades continue until they close. Capital committed to those trades can remain unavailable in the meantime.

Check the strategy status after stopping and continue monitoring open trades. Use the activation or restart control offered by the stopped strategy when you want to resume new trading, after reviewing its settings and subscription status.

Do not treat Stop as a guaranteed immediate exit from every position. A separate Pause action, if offered, must be read according to its own confirmation; its presence should not be assumed.

## Withdraw from a strategy

Use **Withdraw** and inspect the balance being withdrawn, permitted amount, fee and destination. Confirm and check the corresponding record in **Transactions**.

A movement from strategy funds to an available TRAIEX balance is separate from a blockchain withdrawal to an external wallet. Follow [Wallet and Funds](https://traiex.gitbook.io/user-guides/wallet-and-funds) for the latter.

## Read performance

| Metric | Meaning |
| -------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Realized PnL | Result of closed trades; check the costs included. |
| Unrealized PnL | Current valuation of open trades, which can change. |
| Gross / Net | Result before / after the costs included by the calculation. |
| Return / ROI | A percentage result using the stated capital basis and period. |
| Win Rate | Share of closed trades classified as profitable. |
| Max Drawdown | Largest observed decline from a peak during the measured period. |
| Sharpe Ratio | A risk-adjusted measure whose meaning depends on the calculation period and method. |
| Profit Factor | Gross profit divided by gross loss for the measured trades. |

Win rate is not return on capital. Historical drawdown is not a limit on future losses. Compare the same periods and capital basis, and consider open positions and fees alongside closed-trade results.

## Read Win Rate and drawdown in practice

### Many winning trades can still produce a loss

Win Rate uses **closed trades only**. It describes the proportion of profitable trades, not the size of their gains or losses.

| Hypothetical closed trades | Recorded result |
| -------------------------- | --------------- |
| 9 gains of 2 USDT | +18 USDT |
| 1 loss of 30 USDT | −30 USDT |
| Combined result | **−12 USDT** |

Nine of ten trades were profitable: **90% Win Rate**, yet a negative money result. The example excludes subscription costs and separate platform-share charges. Check open trades' unrealized result separately.

### Drawdown follows capital below its previous peak

Consider this hypothetical path with no deposits or withdrawals:

| Stage | Capital, USDT |
| ---------------- | ------------- |
| Starting point | 1,000 |
| New peak | 1,200 |
| Later low | 1,080 |
| Partial recovery | 1,140 |

Capital fell **120 USDT from the peak to the later low**, while remaining above its starting amount. Drawdown describes that decline, not simply the loss on one trade. The recovery does not erase the earlier decline when reviewing the whole path.

These are illustrations, not TRAIEX performance figures. Compare metrics over the same period; past drawdown does not cap future losses.
